The world’s most successful tennis player has teamed up with Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot for something extraordinary. In Paris, Novak Djokovic unveiled a limited edition Big Bang Unico that takes “game-worn memorabilia” to a whole new level.
The watch isn’t just inspired by tennis — it’s actually made from it. Hublot transformed Djokovic’s HEAD tennis rackets and Lacoste uniforms from his historic 2023 season into a timepiece. These materials from his record-breaking 24th Grand Slam run have been reimagined into the watch’s case and bezel using special epoxy resin, creating a unique camouflage pattern where fragments of blue fabric peek through the black carbon background.
But this watch isn’t just about looks. Hublot focused on extreme lightness, swapping traditional sapphire crystal for Gorilla glass, the same material used in premium smartphones. The Unico chronograph movement also went on a diet, using anodized aluminum to shed 27% of its usual weight.
“Every detail matters in maintaining focus and determination,” says Djokovic, who became a Hublot ambassador in 2021. “These new watches extend that philosophy and symbolize the breakthrough year in my career. They represent every match, every moment. Working with Hublot to create these exceptional timepieces has been an incredible experience.”
For enthusiasts, the watch comes with four interchangeable straps, including a special Lacoste band. With its lightest strap, the watch weighs just 49.5 grams — less than a tennis ball. Speaking of tennis balls, they even inspired the design of the bezel screws.
Only 100 pieces of the Big Bang Unico Novak Djokovic will be produced. Each comes in a luxury box made from sustainably sourced oak, and buyers will receive a Lacoste polo shirt signed by the Grand Slam champion himself.
