Where else would you find a clinic with an unlimited relaxation zone, oxygen therapy, or healthy snacks? Even the locations are strategically chosen — both Prague and Bratislava clinics bask in all-day sunshine. “Our Bratislava spot in River Park overlooks the Danube. For Prague, we picked the eye-catching Masaryčka building. Its futuristic design and prime city-center location sealed the deal,” shares Romana Škamlová, one of the clinic’s three co-owners.
While the Slovak IEM Spa clinic was founded by Dr. Alena Pallová and Dr. Romana Škamlová, a third name appears in the creation of the Czech version — Simona Joklová. “No meetings are coincidental. It was the same with the birth of IEM Spa. On holiday, Alena and I exchanged excited visions about a place that would have no competition in any aspect. A few months later, we started implementing the clinic project. Alena joined as a doctor, the expert guarantor, and I have a doctorate in marketing management, which seemed like an ideal combination,” Romana reveals.

“I met Romana abroad when IEM Spa in Bratislava had been operating for a few months. I visited it and was blown away. I’d never seen a clinic like this before, and I’ve traveled half the world. So I proposed opening a branch in Prague,” Simona Joklová, the third visionary with an equal CEO position, summarizes her memories of the collaboration’s beginning.
The added value of IEM Spa clinic is its comprehensiveness. We make sure to walk clients through all the options modern medicine offers, focusing on health and mental well-being just as much as looks. We always take a holistic approach to our clients,” explains Alena Pallová.
She adds that their main goal is to educate clients, encouraging them to prioritize prevention and regular care over quick-fix treatments promising miracles.
When you hear ‘aesthetic medicine clinic,’ most people think of the never-ending battle against aging. “While some clinics are all about fighting aging, we take a positive, pro-aging stance. Instead of waging war on wrinkles, we help clients prepare for aging through prevention. Dermatologist Alena Pallová also rolled out her own skincare line, àla palla. “When creating it, we zeroed in on clean preservation, keeping active ingredients minimal, and boosting how deep the products work in your skin,” Alena shares about these products, which you’ll only find in treatments at IEM Spa clinics.
On the beauty product front, the clinic’s got another ace up its sleeve: Omorovicza products.
