Based on the Bulgari Aluminium model that revolutionized luxury sports watches in 1998 with its bold combination of aluminum and rubber, this new limited edition of 1,200 pieces takes design cues directly from the Stratocaster. The dial features a sunburst finish and cream-white shade characteristic of vintage Strats, while the brown rubber bezel and rhodium-plated indices echo the guitar’s frets.
Inside the 40mm aluminum case with its DLC-treated titanium caseback beats a self-winding mechanical movement. Beyond standard timekeeping, it features a GMT function for tracking a second time zone – dark brown indicating night hours, cream white for day. The dark brown rubber strap with aluminum links includes a Velcro clasp, ensuring comfort even during the most intense guitar sessions.
For serious collectors, Bulgari created 140 exclusive sets, each containing a watch in an original guitar case-inspired box and a book chronicling the Fender Stratocaster’s seventy-year history. For the most discerning enthusiasts, seventy unique guitars have been handcrafted at the renowned Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California.
