Louis Vuitton × Murakami: Fashion Icon Returns

Two decades after their groundbreaking partnership, Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami are joining forces again to revive one of luxury fashion’s most memorable collaborations.

The reedition brings more than 200 pieces that honor the 2003 collection while reimagining it for today’s landscape. At the heart of the collection is the iconic Monogram Multicolore pattern — Murakami’s revolutionary take on Louis Vuitton’s classic monogram, which marked the first-ever reinterpretation of this sacred design. Enhanced by cutting-edge printing technology, the pattern now gleams in 33 vibrant colors.

The collection showcases Louis Vuitton’s finest, featuring signature bags like the Keepall, Coussin, Dauphine, OnTheGo, and Speedy alongside exclusive collector’s items. Notable pieces include a skateboard featuring Murakami’s playful Superflat Panda and an exquisite Courrier Lozine 110 trunk adorned with cherry blossoms.

Murakami’s distinctive blend of traditional Japanese artistry and pop culture extends throughout the accessories line. His creative touch transforms silk scarves, sunglasses, and sneakers, while the Attrape-Rêves and Imagination fragrances receive special treatment with bottles showcasing his signature artistic style.

The first wave of the Louis Vuitton × Murakami collection hits boutiques on January 1, 2025, followed by a second release in March 2025 that will feature Murakami’s cherished Cherry Blossom motif.
