“What fascinates me most is the story of our founder, Count d’Ornano. He established Sisley in 1976, pioneering phyto-cosmetology, a science based on plant extracts and aromatic essential oils,” says Denisa Kodlová, Sisley’s General Manager for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. She adds that Sisley’s laboratories continue to research new active ingredients, combining them to achieve the best possible results and effects.
“All products are still tested by Countess Isabelle d’Ornano, the founder’s wife. She consults with specialists on the scent, texture, and feel of all creams. She always wants the most active and effective extracts,” the director explains.

She considers opening the Maison Sisley boutique in Prague 1 one of their greatest achievements. Here, behind glass doors on Jáchymova Street, adorned with bronze handles shaped like women’s profiles by Polish sculptor Bronisław Krzysztof, art and design meet the world of skincare, makeup, fragrances, and hair care. The best procedures blend with expert knowledge, rich aesthetics, and perfectly executed beauty care rituals.
Like its Parisian counterpart, the Prague boutique is designed to reflect the brand’s spirit and the d’Ornano family’s artistic nature. Walls in Roman blue plaster are complemented by furniture from Maison atelier, sculptures by artist Elzbieta Radziwill, a glass chandelier from Lasvit, and pieces from interior brands Wendy Morrison and Pierre Frey.
Treatments take place in cozy rooms with light ceilings dotted with ginkgo biloba leaves. Each skincare treatment addresses a specific need: hydration, nourishment, anti-aging ritual, regeneration, vitality, relaxation, soothing, or slimming. Everything is based on products with the finest botanical extracts and essential oils. Facial treatments offer smoothing and firming using Ginkgo Gua Sha massage, intensely energizing and revitalizing care, or regenerative anti-aging treatment. You can also book a standalone skin cleansing or LED technology treatment. There are four body treatment procedures available, as well as options for day or evening makeup application.
